HYDRAULIC PILE CROPPERFour-point breaking action

A controlled cut.
A clear next step.

A hydraulic cropper applies force around a pile to break away unwanted concrete and expose the reinforcement. Purpose-built equipment, ready for the next stage of your foundations.

01

Position.

Line up the cropper above the pile and identify the required cut-off level.

02

Lower.

Lower the cropper over the pile, bringing its cutting points into position.

03

Break.

Hydraulic jaws apply force around the pile to separate the concrete head.

04

Clear.

Lift the separated section clear of the prepared, debonded reinforcement.

Illustration shows a prepared, debonded pile. Operating method depends on the cropper, pile design and approved site procedure.

you break.

Which cropper do I need?+

Selection depends on pile diameter and shape, reinforcement and debonding, concrete condition, and your excavator. Include these details in your hire brief so suitability can be checked.

Will it work with my excavator?+

Excavator weight alone does not confirm compatibility. Hydraulic flow, pressure, lifting arrangement and carrier capacity must also match the selected cropper.

How do I arrange hire?+

Start with the hire brief above. It captures the details needed to discuss equipment, delivery, hire dates and a quote. The brief does not reserve a machine.
